<p class="bodytext">ALKAPO holding tracks are an addition to the ALWI system and can generally be compared with these. However, due to the use of box-shaped holding profiles they offer a considerably higher weight-bearing capacity and are used if fixing is only possible at the corresponding floor slabs.</p>
<p class="bodytext">Depending on statical requirements, you may choose between ALKAPO 275 and ALKAPO 350.</p>

<p>Holding tracks for installation of large- and small-size cladding panels with concealed fixing on the reverse side, e.g. ceramics, natural stone, gypsum boards, HPL boards, glassfibre concrete, glass.</p>
<p>Holding tracks for concealed installation of large-size cladding panels, e.g. laminated hardboards (TRESPA®). Basis of this system are SYSTEA® holding tracks type ALWI. For buildings of which the outer walls are not suited as fixing basis, use SYSTEA® ALKAPO holding tracks.</p>
<p>The holding tracks consist of vertical base tracks, e.g. SYSTEA® ALWI or ALKAPO on which horizontal tracks are placed corresponding to the intervals of the cladding panel grid. Per cladding panel, you need min. two horizontal holding tracks. On the reverse side of the cladding panels, holding brackets are fixing for insertion into the holding tracks.</p>
<p>The cladding panels are hung by holding brackets which are fixed on the back of the panels by special plugs or non-expanding rivets and anchors. Height adjustment of the panel is made by an adjustable screw.</p>
<p>Statical proof is given by SYSTEA® for each project individually.</p>

<p class="bodytext">Substructure for the concealed attachment of large and small-format natural stone slabs. The construction is particularly suitable for slab formats up to 1500 mm high. Advantages are entailed primarily when the panels are laid in cross bond. Projections of up to 500 mm are possible.</p>
<p class="bodytext">The substructure comprises a vertical base structure that is attached to the various wall bracket types on the anchoring surface. The horizontal profiles bear the natural stone panels and guarantee safe and simple assembly acc. to DIN 18516-3. Thanks to the rail-mounting system, wild panel patterns can be realised easily.</p>

<p class="bodytext">The brackets form sliding and fixed points. At the sliding points, force-free installation in vertical slot holes is possible. The sliding points only bear horizontal loads (wind). The fixed points bear horizontal and vertical loads (dead weight). Each holding track has one fixed point.</p>
<p class="bodytext">Optionally, the brackets have an installation help making fixing and holding of the holding track possible. For minimizing thermal bridges, thermostop-elements are offered for thermal separation.</p>

<p>This system is the fundamental principle behind the majority of cladding systems. It is available in Stainless steel/Aluminium. The subconstruction consist of vertical L profiles and T-profiles along with helping hand brackets.</p>
<p>Positions/dimensions/frequency of these components will be calculated as per static calculations. Brackets are available in a range of sizes from 40mm to 380mm.</p>
<p>Principle methods of fixing cladding directly to this system are face fixed solutions compassing various facade materials, mainly architectural cladding boards and panels.</p>
<p>EH Smith Specialist Facades Ltd offer full static calculations for all their projects together with setting out drawings and material specifications for the support system supplied with the cladding panels.</p>
