Global Inspiration: Can Sau, Olot, Spain

This ingenious use of a derelict plot in the Spanish town of Olot transformed an eyesore into a communal peice of art and public realm. A construction of three vaults and four niches is offered to the public space as a porous façade, accompanied by a minimum of stands. It is an unfinished and appropriable structure.
