University of Birmingham Business School

This £18m annexe to the grade II-listed University House forms part of the University of Birmingham Business School. Previously, the business school’s 103 staff members had been split across five separate buildings and now that is consolidated into one campus.

EH Smith worked with Glancy Nicholls Architects to select a brick which would tie into the Historic surroundings. The bricks were cut into slips and mounted on a cladding system which was integrated into the facade.
