Between 1993 and 2009, the city of Birmingham was given a new heart. The canals, once the lifeblood of the industrial revolution, were reclaimed to provide a colourful, new, cosmopolitan ambiance thanks to the redevelopment of Brindley Place and Broad Street. Brindley Place is now often seen as the benchmark for a successful major regeneration project and we are proud to have played our part in it.
EH Smith were consulted by the architects of all the buildings within the development. We have played a major part in the selection of all of the facing bricks, resulting in a highly acclaimed urban redevelopment. We are proud to have contributed to this exciting and successful regeneration scheme.
All of the products on Eight Brindley Place that we supplied were successfully delivered ‘just in time’ as requested by the developers.

We have been highly delighted with the proactive approach of EH Smith to the demands and challenges of providing the very extensive number and type of bricks for the Brindley Place development. They have been a professional, efficient and reliable member of the development team and have been instrumental in meeting the aesthetic demands, technical specifications and cost parameters during the sixteen year project
