EH Smith were contacted to create a bespoke blend for this prestigious development in Central London. The subtle shade variation gives texture and depth to the facade and helps to blend the clean contemporary design into its’ historic surroundings.
The project now provides two linked buildings for mixed use, located at 22-25 Kingly Street and 14-18 Fouberts Place in the heart of trendy Soho.
Carnaby Street became synonymous with “swinging London” in the early 1960s when it was at the forefront of the emerging youth fashion and pop music culture of the day.
In the world famous Carnaby Street shopping area this project had to blend into the existing street scape whilst giving a contemporary twist.
The Architects also used glazed lava bricks to break up the facade and provide some playful colour.
