Chadwick Hall

Shortlisted for the 2018 Stirling Prize, the new halls of residence for the University of Roehampton have been lauded for their monolithic grandeur whilst being sensitive to the Grade II*-listed surroundings.

EH Smith worked with the manufacturer and contractor to supply the bespoke brick for the project developed between the Architects and the factory. The base brick was selected and 40% extra calcium was added to the brick to provide the right tone for the development.
