A mixed-use residential development on the well known Old Kent Road in SE London, consisting of 92 residential units for the client London and Quadrant.
The design called for the offsetting of the Brick work panels adjacent to the balcony openings and windows whilst minimizing the need for any additional support to carry this canted back Brickwork.
Utilizing EH Smiths BBA approved lightweight Brick system Fastclad it allowed for the design brief to be met on these areas whilst retaining the look of traditional Brickwork including the required projecting header detail.
