The Circus Street development in the heart of Brighton provides a new Creative District with over 30,000 sqft of Grade A workspace, 142 new homes, 450 new student bedrooms and 14,000 sqft of dance space! The £130m scheme led by U+I is on the site of a derelict municipal market covering 2.4 acres and is one of a number of high profile regeneration schemes in the city.
Central to the development the new office building uses crisp, white glazed bricks in contrast to the student accommodation block which features a more traditional red clamp fired brick. A varied palette of materials is used throughout the scheme to distinguish the different buildings and their uses and to create a neighbourhood feel.
