South Central Tower

This 30-storey residential tower in the Centre of Birmingham provides 166 high-quality apartments, ranging from one to three-bedrooms, and a host of engaging amenities and commercial spaces.

The design of the tower seeks to exhibit the character of this unique area of Birmingham city centre, with references to the city’s terracotta heritage in the natural coloured Keratwin K20 rainscreen. We worked closely with Glancy Nicholls on developing the textural quality of the façade by using a combination of smooth and grooved rainscreen panels.

Floor spanning unitised panels incorporated the rainscreen which allowed the façade to be pre-fabricated and ensured a high quality finish to this landmark building.
