This £50m mixed use development for The Portman Estate is on the site of a former police station in the Baker Street Quarter near Marylebone, Oxford Street and Hyde Park. EH Smith worked with Eric Parry Architects to select a handmade brick which evokes the heritage of this historic part of London.

This “apart-hotel” has 218 rooms, commercial office suites, a restaurant and a retail unit. The development incorporates public realm activity, with the restaurant beside the hotel ground level entrance, enhancing the active frontage of the street.
